Laser Treatments of Veins on the legs and face

Many small veins such as spider veins, small leg veins upto 3mm, cherry angioma, rosacea, port wine stains, birthmarks and facial telangiectasia do not require needle injections. They can be treated painlessly in limited sessions, sometimes only once, with the Cutera Lasers system. The lasers omit a specific wave length of light that passes through the skin without damage and is absorbed by the "red" in the blood cells inside the veins. The veins then collapse and the body’s repair system removes the damaged vein.

Laser energy is delivered along the length of the problem vessels, you may experience a feeling of heat or “prickling”. After the first treatment the veins will change colour, or may become more blurred. Immediately following treatment the skin may show some redness. There may be some bruising around the treated area initially which will disappear within a week.
